We are about a week away from the infamous Concours d’Elegance Boat show at Obexer’s from August 7th and 8th.  Since 1874 boats have played a large roll in daily life in Tahoe.  As a means for locals and tourists alike to get from one point of the lake to the other, wood powered steam boats was the transportation of choice.  Over the years the look and use of boats on the lake has changed.  The Boat Show has always been a favorite as guests can see some amazing wooden boats including the Thunderbird.
