It’s always the first real snowfall of the season that get’s everyone excited and hopefully for this year being a big one. Of course all the articles in the last three months or so mentioned El Nino and predicting it will at the least be a wetter winter the question of course is will it be cold enough. I can tell you the forecast is heading in that direction. I can’t remember the last time I saw low’s in the teens in November and early November at that. It will be interesting to see if we will now see a rush on new real estate listings in the ski areas such as Northstar, Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows.
Time will tell but for now we can enjoy looking at the mountain tops around Lake Tahoe and seeing snow!
