It’s that time of year again, hundreds of athletes have arrived and or are arriving to Tahoe to try and adjust to the elevation change before the big race on Sunday. This year they added a 1/2 Ironman and a relay team option. Over the last couple of weeks I have seen an increase in athletes training in and around Lake Tahoe. With the recent fires in Northern California and the smoke that has overcome the Tahoe/Reno area we can only hope the weather holds out this weekend. If you remember last year they had to cancel the race due to smoke.
Mark your calendars for Sunday to plan out your day due to road closures and or one direction travel and or to cheer on the athletes. Here is the link to everything you need to know about the race as well as the officials updating any news on the weather/smoke conditions.
