You know it’s summer when the Shakespeare Festival is in full swing at Sand Harbor. If you have never been I highly recommend going and packing your favorite snacks and adult beverages. In past years they have done a great job of having some food vendors available whom you can purchase food and drink from but feel free to bring your own. Don’t forget a sweatshirt, as the sun sets into the night the temperatures will drop.
This year’s production is Romeo and Juliet. Besides the stage being built in the sand and the backdrop is the lake it’s the twist they put on the productions to make the Shakespeare plays entertaining.
